
Ray Zhang

Ray is a 4th-year student in both Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of British Columbia. His research interests include the application of data science and machine learning techniques to solve problems in healthcare, as well as developing new deep learning architecture to uncover underlying biological patterns in healthcare data. Ray is currently working at the uterine health lab as a bioinformatics research assistant, supporting research aimed to improve screening and detection of endometrial cancer. Outside of work, his enjoys fitness, music and reading.
